Moving abroad
To use a Swiss document in another country, an apostille is usually required. Online visa platforms increasingly accept digital documents, but consulates often ask for paper.

Does the SEM accept the digital format?
It depends on the procedure. We recommend checking with the office concerned; if it is refused, we produce the paper version for the price difference.
